Abstract:
We discuss why and how to look for observational signatures of non-gravitational interactions between the dark components of the cosmic fluid, due either to creation of dark particles from the expanding vacuum or an effect of clustering of a dynamical dark energy. We call the attention to some subtleties involved in the observational tests, revisit previous SNe Ia and LSS results that indicate the presence of interaction, and present new results concerning BAO and CMB observations.
