
The IFGW graduate program holds selection processes for admission in Master's and Ph.D. courses twice a year. The Master fellowship have the duration of 24 months and the PhD fellowship have the duration of 48 months. The accepted candidates may receive scholarship from the program depending on their classification on the selection process. In Brazil you can apply for the PhD program without a previous Master degree, but also you can apply after finishing the Master program.
The potential advisor and the candidate could also apply for a scholarship from the funding agency FAPESP, that it’s the more prestigious fellowship in Brazil.

REGISTRATION
The registration for participation in this selection process must be done through the Unicamp's Academic Management System (SIGA) and the electronic form (IFGW Graduate Electronic system).

Attention: The candidate should register at the two systems mentioned above. If not, the candidate will not participate in the selection process. Incomplete applications will not be considered for the selection process.

Registration of accepted students
The registration of accepted students is carried out by the Graduate School secretariat, according to the university-s public calendar.
Documents required for Brazilian Students

Documents required for Foreign Students
Foreign students, before requesting enrollment in the course, must send send to the DAC (via the “ Talk to the DAC ” system, subject “Foreigner Service”) a copy of all the following documents:
- Passport identification page
- Passport page containing visa
- Passport page with entry stamp no older than 90 days
- Proof of having taken out an insurance plan in the country of origin
- Signed Commitment Term
Note: If at the time of registration you already have a valid National Migration Registration Card (CRNM) , it is sufficient to present a copy of the FRONT and BACK of the document in place of your passport.
If the foreigner has been in Brazil for less than 90 days and has not yet appeared at the Federal Police, the presentation of the Federal Police Service Protocol and the National Migration Registration Card (CRNM) will be waived. However, the interested party must submit both documents as soon as they have them.
We emphasize, however, that at the time of Enrollment, the foreigner must present the passport identification page, the passport page containing the visa, the entry stamp in the country with a date no more than 90 days old, proof of contracting an insurance plan in the country of origin and a signed Commitment Term.
After attending the DAC and to register, the new student must sent to Physics Graduate Office the following documents (on the days and times mentioned in the Edital):
- Undergraduate diploma* (exceptionally, this can be temporarily replaced by the Undergraduate Completion Certificate)
- Passport identification page
- Passport page with entry stamp no older than 90 days
Those entering the doctorate: it should include the master's degree diploma or certificate of completion of the master's degree. If the candidate is looking for a PhD without having a Master Degree he should inform this in the application form.
After enrollment, foreign students must upload the following documents to the DAC website (e-DAC > "Documents" > "Send Documents"):
- Graduation diploma* (exceptionally, this may be temporarily replaced by the Graduation Completion Certificate)
- birth or marriage certificate
- Individual Taxpayer Registration (CPF)
